Although Poco’s upcoming India launch has been cancelled due to the current COVID-19 crisis in the region, the Chinese giant will unveil a new smartphone on May 19th in the global market. The “Poco M3 Pro 5G” will be the older brother to the regular M3 and will seek to bring 5G access to a larger audience.

Poco M3 Pro 5G – Rumoured Specification Details
About the fact that the tweet contains little information about the Poco M3 Pro’s specs or architecture, POCO global’s head of product marketing, Angus Ng, has verified some of the features that can be expected from the upcoming unit.
The Poco M3 Pro will be powered by a MediaTek chipset with 5G compatibility, according to an interview with Android Central. It will also feature a monitor with a high refresh rate, faster bandwidth, more RAM, and three colour options.
In addition, renders of the Poco M3 Pro with a special back configuration have appeared online. Within an elongated black patch with the Poco branding, you will see a triple camera module. According to the interview, the unit will be available in three colours: black, blue, and the trademark yellow. A bezel-less monitor with a fixed punch-hole selfie camera can be seen on the front.
According to speculation, the Poco M3 Pro 5G will be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 10 5G. We already know all of the specifications since it was released in Europe earlier this year.
On the front, there’s a 6.5-inch Full-HD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. An 8MP selfie camera is housed in the punch-hole. The triple camera system on the back consists of a 48MP main sensor and two 2MP depth and macro sensors.
The MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset is at the heart of the Redmi Note 10 5G. There will be up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage available. The phone will have a fingerprint scanner on the side and a 5,000mAh battery with 18W rapid charging.
So, as the Poco M3 Pro 5G arrives in India, it will contend in the sub-Rs. 15,000 price range with the Realme 8 5G. Are you looking forward to the launch? Let us know what you think in the comments section below.
